Eugene and Annelies warmly welcome you at The Art of Joy. Both have joy and hospitality as their priority. They want to inspire you to enjoy your stay, relax meanwhile you get excited about the area, possibly during guided walks.
Annelies has many route descriptions and maps for hiking as well as for excursions by car. She will be delighted to inform you in detail about the local interests 'where to go and what to see'.
Her passion is hiking and she can optionally accompany you on many hikes she discovered in the subtropical forests of Monchique and the rest of the Algarve. She has retrieved the information from the area and local population.
Eugene will surprise you with a delicious meal. More than once there is too much choice on the table to taste everything.

If during your holidays you are interested in life coaching, Annelies will provide,
as a professional, a coaching while walking in the beautiful surroundings of the Serra the Monchique. For your physical and mental wellbeing you can request a relaxing massage with Eugene.

Annelies and Eugene are both complementary to each other; they enjoy life to the fullest and would like to share with you their Art of Joy. As true entrepreneurs who live their dream, they dare to take risks, and know adequately to take action: Action purifies! They have a Latin optimistic enthusiasm with a down to earth Frisian twang. Both enjoy a wide experience as trainer / coach in the business field as well as in the service sector. There is a very personal and relaxed atmosphere at our Casa. A frequently heard compliment from our guests is that they feel at home here! You are free to choose to inscribe for other activities, however it is not obligatory! Primary we are your host and hostess and we know how to separate that from our other activities.
