Welcome to the Art of Joy in the Algarve, Portugal

We invite you to find tranquility in our Bed and Breakfast `The Art of Joy´  and to enjoy the peace, great scenery, the spacious sun area with swimming pool, the amazing view from the jacuzzi and the beautiful natural surroundings. Our Casa is a starting point for fun and adventurous excursions: the south coast with impressive rock formations, peaceful beaches on the west coast, tours with dolphins, picturesque villages like Silves and Caldes de Monchique and wonderful walks through the adjacent National Park of Serra de Monchique. 

Children are welcome from 12 years and older to ensure the ambience of tranquillity and peace.

We offer you a variety of service options

  1. Comfortable accommodation: Four double rooms (one available for 4 persons) and two apartments. If desired we provide dinner twice a week. To make it comfortable for you in winter we provide in the apartments woodburning stoves and electric heaters in the B & B rooms.
     
  2. Personalized and creative team building weeks for companies.
     
  3. Courses upon which the emphasis is on awareness, intuition and career-planning. We use different forms in a very practical manner such as: Coaching while walking, body work, Palm reading, Tarot and aura reading.
     
  4. Hikes/walks:
    • There are many beautiful routes in and around The Art of Joy. The best months for hikes are in the off-season when the weather is not too warm: September through mid-June. You can: Explore the scenery on your own route descriptions or you can participate in organized walking excursions in the natural world around The Art of Joy.
    • An all-inclusive hiking week through a big variety of landscapes: 6th until 13th of May 2010( fully booked) and 23th until 30th December 2010 or you can choose a period to your liking for an individual all-inclusive hiking week with partner, family or friends (not possible in July and August).
       
  5. Individual Coaching and Counseling: Coaching while walking, Massage, Palm reading, Tarot and Aura reading.
     
  6. We have a shuttle service to and from the airport for € 50, - .
